Add a little JOYA® to your smoothies – it’s so easy. We share 4 delicious, nutritious recipes.

Carrot cake smoothie
Makes 2 medium-sized smoothies

1 JOYA® apple, cored and cut into quarters
1 banana, broken up into smaller pieces
½ cup carrots, sliced into coins
1 cup milk
½ cup Greek yoghurt
A dollop of honey
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground ginger
Pinch of mixed spice

Place all the ingredients in your smoothie machine and pulse until everything is blended and smooth.

Apple cinnamon smoothie
Makes 2 medium-sized smoothies

2 JOYA® apples, cored and cut into quarters
1 banana, broken up into smaller pieces
1 cup milk
½ cup Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
1 tsp vanilla
A dollop of honey
2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of ground nutmeg

Place all the ingredients in your smoothie machine and pulse until everything is blended and smooth.

Apple and berry smoothie
Makes 2 medium-sized smoothies

1 JOYA® apple, cored and cut into quarters
1 cup blueberries, raspberries or strawberries
1 cup milk
½ cup Greek yoghurt
1 tsp vanilla
A dollop of honey
1 tbsp whey protein

Place all the ingredients in your smoothie machine and pulse until everything is blended and smooth.

Apple and avocado smoothie
Makes 2 medium-sized smoothies

1 JOYA® apple, cored and cut into quarters
½ ripe avocado
½ cup apple juice
½ cup ice-cold water
4 mint leaves
1 tsp lemon juice (preferably freshly squeezed)

Place all the ingredients in your smoothie machine and pulse until everything is blended and smooth.
